<p><strong>There are many benefits to be had from <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/aromatherapy" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Aromatherapy">aromatherapy</a> and <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/massage" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with massage">massage</a></strong> and one of the most fun is the effect it will have on your romance and love life.</p>
<p><strong>However there are more benefits than this</strong> and you can use <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/massage" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with massage">massage</a> with <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.essentialoilindia.com/" target="_blank">natural <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a></a> to relieve high blood pressure and helps the digestive system, reduces stress, headaches, insomnia and poor quality of sleep, easing aches and pains and illnesses associated with conditions such as arthritis or chronic fatigue syndrome. It can also help in weight loss, to tone the body and improve skin tone.<span id="more-166"></span></p>
<p><strong>Remembering that the pure <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a> can be flammable, </strong>candles can be a great way to set the <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/massage" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with massage">massage</a> mood and scented candles are a great idea to relax the person that is being massaged. Just keep the oils away and you should be fine. Make sure your candles are scented with real <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a> as well for added benefit.</p>
<p><strong>Massages should be relaxing experiences so when you are using </strong><a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.essentialoilindia.com/" target="_blank"><strong>pure <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a></strong></a><strong> in a <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/massage" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with massage">massage</a>, remember to be gentle. </strong>Your movements should be firm but not painful and never <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/massage" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with massage">massage</a> over broken skin or over areas where a bone has been broken or fractured. You want the <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/massage" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with massage">massage</a> to be a nice experience and not an excruciating one.</p>
<p><strong>Always remember to check whether or not the <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a> that you are using in <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/massage" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with massage">massage</a> are suitable to be used on the skin.</strong> Some are not as they can be toxic. All <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a> should be diluted in someway, as <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a> are very strong and can causes burns if applied to the skin directly. They are best used in a carrier oil or moisturizer.</p>
<p><strong>Make sure you arm yourself with as much information as possible prior to beginning.</strong> If you are blending different <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a> together, try to follow a &#8220;recipe&#8221; or experiment first to make sure the smell is pleasing and not irritating.</p>

Distractions will interfere with the <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/massage" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with massage">massage</a> and it will not be an enjoyable experience both for the masseur and also the person who is on the receiving end.</p>

<h3><a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/massage" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with massage">Massage</a> Oils</h3>
<p>Organic <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a>, such as organic <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/lavender" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with lavender">lavender</a> essential oil, is suitable for scenting oils used in <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/massage" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with massage">massage</a> therapy treatments.  Most organic <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a>, because they are so concentrated, should be diluted with a carrier oil, such as olive oil or almond oil, in order for the product to be used safely on the skin.</p>
<p>It only takes a few drops of organic <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/lavender" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with lavender">lavender</a> essential oil to scent your plain <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/massage" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with massage">massage</a> oil.  Once it has been added, your skin will be scented with the pleasant and relaxing aroma of <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/lavender" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with lavender">lavender</a>.  <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/massage" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with massage">Massage</a> oils that contain organic <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/lavender" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with lavender">lavender</a> essential oil or other essential oil scents allow the hands to pass smoothly over the skin, making it easier to <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/massage" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with massage">massage</a> tightened muscles and relieve the kinks.</p>
<p>Organic <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/lavender" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with lavender">lavender</a> essential oil can also be added as a fragrance to body lotions and, in combination with carrier oils, as body soaks for use in the bath tub for a relaxing scented bath.</p>
<h3><a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/aromatherapy" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Aromatherapy">Aromatherapy</a> Oils</h3>
<p><a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/aromatherapy" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Aromatherapy">Aromatherapy</a> oils may be used to enhance your mood and create a pleasant scent in the air around you.  <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/aromatherapy" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Aromatherapy">Aromatherapy</a> oils, which could include organic <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/lavender" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with lavender">lavender</a> essential oil, are spread throughout the air in a room through the use of a diffuser.</p>
<p>There are several different types of diffusers used for various purposes.  The smallest are personal diffusers and car diffusers.  Personal diffusers are tiny bottles with a few drops of <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/aromatherapy" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Aromatherapy">aromatherapy</a> oils inside that are worn around the neck, and body heat is used to release the fragrant scent.</p>
<p>Car diffusers are small containers that hold the essential oil, and can be hung from the rear-view mirror or plugged into your car&#8217;s cigarette lighter.</p>
<p>Organic <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/lavender" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with lavender">lavender</a> essential oil can also be used in diffusers that scent your room.  They might use a candle, a lightbulb, or electricity to heat the <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a>.  Lightbulb rings are very easy to use.  You simply place a metal or ceramic hollow ring on top of a bulb that is used in a lamp, place a few drops of oil in the ring, and then turn the light on.  The heat from the bulb releases the fragrance.</p>
<p>Candle diffusers offer a basin for the oil, with a candle below to provide the heat.  Electric diffusers are useful for scenting an entire room, and often come with small fans built in to spread the fragrance.</p>
<p>In all of these ways, organic <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a> are perfect for use in <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/massage" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with massage">massage</a> and <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/aromatherapy" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Aromatherapy">aromatherapy</a> applications.</p>

<p>We are well into summer now and swimsuit season is in full swing. One of the major concerns for practically every woman during swimsuit season is the dreaded C word&#8230;<strong><em>cellulite</em></strong>&#8230;that lumpy, dimpled, orange-peel texture that seems to target skin on thighs, bottom and backs of arms and is the shame and embarrassment of anyone who has it.</p>
<p><strong>Cellulite affects nearly every woman as she gets older.</strong> Major scientific discoveries have uncovered the factors that cause cellulite.</p>
<p><strong>Although there are three layers of fat under the skin, only the top layer is involved with cellulite.</strong> Changes in the connective tissue structure in this top layer of fat, caused by pregnancy, hormonal, structural, vascular changes, genetics and aging, trigger the formation of cellulite allowing fat to protrude deeply into the dermis (the layer of skin beneath the outermost layer), which is what causes the characteristic lumpy appearance of cellulite.</p>
<p><strong>Hormones</strong> <strong>secreted in response to stress, </strong>particularly cortisol, also encourage fat deposits in problem areas. Pregnenolone is the precursor hormone from which all other hormones are created. It is an important precursor for the body&#8217;s production of progesterone which blocks cortisol receptors.<span id="more-117"></span></p>
<p>Some of the <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a> that combat excess cortisol are Balsam Fir, Conyza, Fennel, Peppermint and Frankincense <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a>.</p>
<p>Magnetic resonance imaging studies have shown that women with cellulite have pillar-like columns separating the fat chambers, which are larger and deeper than those in men. These large vertical chambers can store an abundance of fat.</p>
<p>Collagen supporting tissues of men, on the other hand, is more like a criss-cross net that is organized into small diagonal chambers, which hold only small amounts of fat&#8230;that&#8217;s why men typically don&#8217;t have cellulite.</p>
<p><strong>Cellulite is mostly related to the underlying structure or framework and relationship of adipose to connective tissue in women.</strong> Scientists are now saying that cellulite is a disease of the connective tissue and is the product of extensive connective tissue destruction and that the three main causes of cellulite are excess fat deposition, weakened connective tissue support structure and poor circulation.</p>
<p><strong>Fat storage and breakdown are controlled by two sets of special receptors </strong>called alpha and beta receptors on the surface of each fat cell. The beta receptors promote fat loss and are regulated by the hormone epinephrine, whereas the alpha receptors prevent fat breakdown and promote fat storage.</p>
<p><strong>In the case of cellulite the alpha receptors outnumber the beta receptors.</strong> Women also unfortunately tend to have more fat storage alpha receptors than fat breakdown beta receptors in the hips and thighs.</p>
<p>Increasing production in the body of the enzymes <strong>hormone sensitive lipase</strong> and the enzyme <strong>protein kinase A </strong>will help break down the fat cells and release them into the bloodstream and is a key component of helping to eliminate fat and cellulite.</p>
<p>As well as connective tissue degeneration, <strong>poor circulation and lymph drainage can also aggravate and worsen cellulite</strong>. Exercise can stimulate epinephrine release, which can to some degree help reduce the appearance of cellulite but it&#8217;s not enough to completely eliminate cellulite. Increasing circulation will help increase lymph flow and also help to reduce the appearance of cellulite.</p>
<p><strong>Here are some <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a> to the rescue that are well known to help with circulation,</strong> stimulating the lymphatic system and encouraging the elimination of toxins and water retention, all of which help with reducing the appearance of cellulite.</p>
<p>Because some of these particular <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a> are quite strong, they can be irritating to sensitive skin so it is important, if you have sensitive skin, to dilute them in a carrier base oil such as almond, jojoba, coconut, olive, grape seed or avocado oils. All of these oils are great for the skin.</p>
<p><strong>Just make sure you are using an organic and expeller pressed oil still in its raw natural state</strong> so that its chemical composition hasn&#8217;t been altered or destroyed and that its skin nurturing properties are still in tact.</p>
<p><strong>Most all oils when heated past 103 degrees Fahrenheit, </strong>with the exception of grape seed and coconut oil, are destroyed, change chemical structure and can even become toxic. A good rule of thumb is if you shouldn&#8217;t eat it then you shouldn&#8217;t put it on your skin because the skin will absorb it into the body.</p>
<p><strong>So here are the <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a> that will help reduce the appearance of cellulite:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Juniper</strong> (Juniperus osteosperma and scopulorum)- Has been used for centuries as a diuretic and is excellent for relieving fluid retention. Renowned for its detoxifying and purifying ability, Juniper essential oil clears waste, promotes excretion of toxins and increases vascular circulation.</p>
<p><strong>Rosemary</strong> (Rosmarinus officinalis)- Rosemary increases warmth and stimulates blood circulation and is especially useful for circulatory problems of extremities. I stand on my feet for long periods of time and when my legs and calves swell up, rubbing Rosemary essential oil on them relieves the swelling and edema in about 2 minutes. It&#8217;s really incredible for combating fluid retention and lymphatic congestion making it very effective for cellulite and obesity (and great for keeping the legs from swelling up during air travel as well).</p>
<p><strong>Cypress</strong> Essential Oil (Cupressus sempervirens)- This essential oil is most used for the circulatory system as it improves circulation and strengthens blood capillaries. It also helps in fluid reducing. It is excellent for varicose veins due to its vasoconstricting effect.</p>
<p><strong>Geranium</strong> (Pelargonium graveolens)- Excellent for all skin types due to its ability to balance sebum. It improves blood flow, is a liver and pancreas stimulant and dilates the bile ducts for liver detoxification. Geranium essential oil also helps to balance the hormones.</p>
<p><strong>Lemon</strong> (Citrus limon)- Lemon essential oil is stimulating for the circulatory system and improves microcirculation, strengthens vascular tissues, it is used for treating varicose veins by improving circulation and relieving pressure on the veins (together with Cypress essential oil in a 1 to1 ratio).</p>
<p><strong><a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/lavender" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with lavender">Lavender</a></strong> (Lavandula angustifolia)- <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/lavender" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with lavender">Lavender</a> oil may also be used in the treatment of stretch marks.</p>
<p><strong>Grapefruit</strong> (Citrus paradisi)- Relieves congested and oily skin, having a toning effect on both skin and tissues. For this reason it is a good oil to use when treating cellulite.</p>
<p><strong>Orange</strong> (Citrus sinensis) &#8211; There is some resemblance between cellulite skin and that of an orange peel and that might be one of the first clues that Orange essential oil is an exceptional oil for reducing the appearance of cellulite. Orange essential oil is a diuretic and is great for relieving fluid retention, it also softens the epidermis, stimulates blood circulation and lymph fluids and is very helpful in treating swollen tissue.</p>
<p>I have mixed equal parts of Orange, Lemon, Cypress and Juniper <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a> and massaged these oils straight into my skin with no carrier oil but adding a few drops of base carrier oil might be a good idea if you have sensitive skin. I noticed a huge difference in the appearance of cellulite within about half an hour.</p>

The following are 5 of the most popular scents.</p>

Unlike other <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a>, chamomile is mild enough to help ease your baby’s colic, thus helping him or her achieve sleep.</p>
<p><strong>Eucalyptus</strong></p>
<p>With about 300 varieties, eucalyptus has long been a vital ingredient in cough medications because its scent, which helps open up and clear nasal passages. Eucalyptus oil is also used to scent mouthwashes, aftershaves, colognes and other household cleansers.</p>
<p>The effects of eucalyptus on the mind and body include: relief from mental fatigue, improves mental alertness, lessen muscle tension and help boost the immune system. It is also a widely-used disinfectant and insect repellant.</p>
<p>However, if used in large amounts, eucalyptus essential oil can be toxic. Also, while it is great for relieving the symptoms of sinusitis and lung congestion, it is not intended for use during an asthma attack.</p>
<p><strong><a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/lavender" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with lavender">Lavender</a></strong></p>
<p><a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/lavender" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with lavender">Lavender</a> has long been associated with cleanliness ever since the Romans first used it as an additive to their bathwater. Today, it is still a favorite for scenting perfumes, soaps, air fresheners, fabric softeners, disinfectants and many others. <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/lavender" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with lavender">Lavender</a> is one of the safest and most widely-used <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a>, known to have an uplifting and relaxing effect.</p>

<p><em><a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/aromatherapy" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Aromatherapy">Aromatherapy</a></em> is the art and science of using <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a> for improving or to maintain health and beauty. All ancient civilizations&#8212;Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Chinese, and Indian&#8212;have used <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/aromatherapy" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Aromatherapy">aromatherapy</a> for their physical and mental well-being.</p>
<p>The term &#8220;<a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/aromatherapy" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Aromatherapy">Aromatherapy</a>&#8221; can be misleading as it suggests that it is a form of healing that works exclusively through the sense of smell. This is not the case, as each essential oil has an individual combination of constituents that interact with the body&#8217;s chemistry in a direct manner.</p>
<p>It is important to recognize that <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a> have three distinct modes of action with regard to how they interrelate with the human body: pharmacological, physiological and psychological.</p>
<p>The pharmacological effect is concerned with the chemical changes that take place when an essential oil enters the blood stream and brain and reacts with hormones and enzymes, etc.</p>
<p>The physiological mode is the way the essential oil affects the system of the body, that is, whether they are sedated or stimulated. The psychological effect takes place in response to the smell of the essential oil with the limbic (memory/emotion) part of the brain.</p>
<p>For <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/aromatherapy" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Aromatherapy">aromatherapy</a> to be effective, <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a> need to enter the body in one of two ways; one, physically through the skin and secondly through the olfactory system. Once the <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a> come into contact with the skin they are immediately assimilated into the circulatory system where they are carried to the various systems and organs.</p>
<p><span id="more-99"></span></p>
<p>When <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a> are inhaled, their unique molecules penetrate the limbic system in the brain. The limbic system, sometimes referred to as our &#8220;old&#8221; brain, is responsible for our memories and emotions. The brain, in turn, releases certain neurochemicals, causing positive changes throughout the body.</p>
<p>It is best to use <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a> as external remedies only. This is due to the high concentration of the <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a> and the potential irritation or damage they could cause to the mucous membranes and delicate stomach lining.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">Essential oils</a> are non-oily aromatic liquids occurring naturally in various parts of plants, herbs, flowers, fruits, woods and spices. They contain the life force of the plant and have the ability to strengthen our immune system and to stimulate our bodies&#8217; natural healing abilities.</p>
<p>Like herbalism, <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/aromatherapy" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Aromatherapy">Aromatherapy</a> draws on the healing powers of the plant world. However, instead of using the whole plant, it employs only its essential oil.</p>
<p>This potent, aromatic substance is housed in the tiny glands on the outside or deep inside the roots, woods, leaves, fruits or flowers of the plant. Most plants contain <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a>, but often in such minimal amounts that extraction would not be worth the effort or the price of the essential oil would be too high.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">Essential oils</a> are highly concentrated and in most cases must be diluted prior to use. Such concentration has some advantages. For example, <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a> don&#8217;t take up much room and can be easily transported. They can be combined with each other in a variety of ways for many different purposes.</p>
<h3><a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">Essential Oils</a></h3>
<p><a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">Essential oils</a> should be labeled &#8220;Pure <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">Essential Oils</a>&#8220;. There is a temptation by distillers and suppliers of <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a> to extend or stretch the essential oil. This greatly reduces or negates the therapeutic value of the essential oil, depending on what it has been extended with.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">Essential oils</a> will vary in price, depending on the amount of plant material required, the extraction process and the availability of the plant from which the essential oil is extracted. They should always be kept in dark glass bottles as they are extremely sensitive to light. The shelf life of <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a> varies.</p>
<p>A citrus essential oil has the shortest shelf life of approximately one year, after which it will gradually lose its therapeutic actions. Some <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a>, such as rose, sandalwood, rosewood and patchouli actually get better with age, much like fine wine.</p>
<p>There are hundreds of <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a>, which between them constitute an extremely effective medical system. Many of these are the active ingredient in drugs prescribed by the orthodox Western system of medicine, or the inspiration for synthetic copies. These concentrated liquids are indispensable to medicine, and to the food and cosmetic industries.</p>
<p>Some examples of the disinfectant properties of <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a>:</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;">• The essential oil of <strong>cinnamon</strong> kills the Typhus bacillus at a dilution of 1:300</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;">• The essential oil of <strong>chamomile</strong> has considerable bacteriostatic properties due to the amount of azulene contained in it. Azulene is effective at a dilution of 1:2000 against the Staphylococcus and thehemolyticbeta streptococcus (causes scarlet fever and rheumatic fever). Infected wounds have been healed using a dilution of 1:17000.</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;">• The essential oil of <strong>lemon</strong> neutralizes Meningococcus , Typhus bacillus , Pneumococcus and Staphylococcus within 5 &#8211; 20 minutes.</p>
<p>In order to kill bacteria in the air, Professor Griffon carried out the following experiment: Mixtures of various <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a> were sprayed as mists in a room. The development capacity of the germs suspended in the air was studied before and after spraying.</p>
<p>Before the test there were 210 germs, of which 12 were molds and 8 staphylococci. Within 30 minutes, the <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a> had destroyed all the molds and staphylococci.</p>

<p><strong>Are you well versed with <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/aromatherapy" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Aromatherapy">Aromatherapy</a>?</strong> Here is some useful information about Essential Oil Kits</p>
<p><em><strong><a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/aromatherapy" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Aromatherapy">Aromatherapy</a></strong></em><strong> is a recent therapeutic technique or science which makes use of <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a> </strong>to build up and create a certain positive effect upon the human cells and the body as a whole. This has a very refreshing effect which is beneficial to the human body and mind. This effect is being created or induced by the special aroma or external application of these special <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/aromatherapy" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Aromatherapy">aromatherapy</a> <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a>.</p>
<p><strong><a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/aromatherapy" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Aromatherapy">Aromatherapy</a> does rely very heavily upon these variety of special <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a>. </strong>If a person or an individual is very new to this aroma therapy, there are so many inexpensive ways to know and determine if <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/aromatherapy" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Aromatherapy">aromatherapy</a> meets his individual requirements and needs. One of these method is the use of <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/aromatherapy" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Aromatherapy">aromatherapy</a> item called the essential oil kit.</p>
<p><strong>A basic essential oil kit should be comprised of three basic items.</strong> These items include a diffuser, <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/aromatherapy" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Aromatherapy">aromatherapy</a> decoder and the basic <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a>.</p>
<p><span id="more-103"></span><strong>More specifically, there are certain <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a>, such as <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/lavender" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with lavender">lavender</a> oil, which can really help to reduce stress</strong> and help you eventually fall asleep and relax completely. Moreover, there are <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a> or aromas which can serve or stimulate to energize and refresh an individual through various aroma therapy uses and techniques.</p>
<p><strong>These oils or aromas are extracted purely from basic natural elements found on our planet. </strong>These are elements which include ingredients from spices, flowers and trees etc.</p>
<h3>Diffuser</h3>
<p><strong>As with any product there are different types of diffusers that are available to the consumer. </strong>Some of those type of diffusers found in essential oil kits include candles made from the essential oil, electric diffusers, nebulizers, or a nicely crafted container that holds the oil and is heated using a tea light.</p>
<p><strong>One of the most important items which comprise an essential oil kit is an <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/aromatherapy" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Aromatherapy">aromatherapy</a> diffuser. </strong>Basically, an aroma therapy diffuser is an item that helps to release the healing properties of the <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a> that are used in <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/aromatherapy" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Aromatherapy">aromatherapy</a>.</p>
<p>This release is accomplished when the diffuser is heated and in turn transfers that heat to the essential oil. This process allows the release of the aroma so that it can be inhaled and be used effectively in providing therapy.</p>
<h3><a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/aromatherapy" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Aromatherapy">Aromatherapy</a> Decoder</h3>
<p><strong>An important part of an essential oil kit is an <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/aromatherapy" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Aromatherapy">aromatherapy</a> decoder. </strong>In order to understand the effects of the <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a> upon the body it is important to have a handy guide that clearly shares <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/aromatherapy" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Aromatherapy">aromatherapy</a> information with the novice.</p>
<p><strong>In addition, the <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a> are defined according to their specific properties,</strong> instruction on how to use them, blending of <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a> that need to be accomplished and precautions regarding their use. When the decoder is turned the various <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a> and their corresponding therapeutic effects are highlighted. This decoder may come in different styles but basically is circular in design.</p>
<h3>Basic <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">Essential Oils</a></h3>

Other processes include <em>expression</em> or <em>solvent extraction. </em></p>
<p><strong><a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">Essential oils</a> should never be used undiluted on the skin. </strong>There are instances when experienced <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/aromatherapy" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Aromatherapy">aromatherapy</a> users and practitioners make exceptions to this precaution. <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/lavender" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with lavender">Lavender</a> and tea tree are listed by a large number of <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/aromatherapy" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Aromatherapy">aromatherapy</a> sources as being oils that can be used undiluted.</p>
<p><strong><a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">Essential oils</a> are usually lipophilic</strong> (literally: &#8220;oil-loving&#8221;) compounds that usually are not miscible with water. Instead, they can be diluted in solvents like pure 100% ethanol ,polyethylene glycol, or oils.</p>
<p><strong>Today, most common <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a></strong>, such as <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/lavender" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with lavender">lavender</a>, peppermint, and eucalyptus,<strong> are distilled.</strong> Raw plant material, consisting of the flowers, leaves, wood, bark, roots, seeds, or peel, is put into an alembic over water.</p>
<p>When using <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a>, <strong>use</strong><strong> the smallest amount of <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a> that will get the job done.</strong> <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">Essential oils</a> should only be taken internally after receiving a detailed consultation and prescription from a trained and qualified <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/aromatherapy" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Aromatherapy">aromatherapy</a> practitioner.</p>
<p><span id="more-109"></span><strong>The smoke from burning <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a> may contain potential carcinogens,</strong> such as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">Essential oils</a> are naturally high in volatile organic compounds (VOCs).</p>
<p>Some <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a> should be avoided during pregnancy or by those with asthma, epilepsy, or with other health conditions.</p>
<h3><a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">Essential Oils</a> Tips</h3>

<p><strong>In <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/aromatherapy" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Aromatherapy">aromatherapy</a> Lemon essential oil has an amazingly wide range of uses. </strong> The lemon conjures up images of freshness and cleanliness and sunshine and lemonade.</p>
<p><strong>R</strong><strong>esearch by Jean Valnet, M.D.</strong>, showed that vaporized Lemon essential oil can kill meningococcus bacteria in 15 minutes, typhoid bacilli in one hour, staphylococcus aureus in two hours and germs causing pneumonia within three hours.</p>
<p><strong>Even a 0.2% solution of Lemon essential oil can kill diphtheria bacteria in 20 minutes</strong> and inactivate tuberculosis bacteria. Its antiseptic properties will last for twenty days. It is perfect for destroying air-borne germs in hospital rooms, waiting rooms, and schools. It is particularly effective in neutralizing unpleasant body odors of patients suffering from cancer.</p>
<p><strong>Lemon essential oil is an essential oil with high vibrations, </strong>comparable to a high-toned whistle. Sandalwood, in comparison, hums like a bumble bee. <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">Essential oils</a> with high vibrations lifts spirits, especially when one may be feeling mental fatigue.</p>
<p><strong>Lemon especially brings a sense of warmth and fun to intellectual pursuits.</strong> Although Lemon essential oil is beneficial for both physical and psychological heaviness, it mostly stimulates the mind, increasing concentration and the ability to memorize.</p>
<p><strong>Brain research concerned with the effects of fragrances has found that Lemon essential oil primarily activates the hippocampus.</strong> University researchers in Japan found that diffusing certain aromas in an office environment dramatically improved mental accuracy and concentration.</p>
<p><span id="more-77"></span></p>
<p><strong>Diffused Lemon essential oil resulted in 54 percent fewer errors.</strong> When aromas were diffused during test taking, scores increased by as much as 50 percent. In other research Lemon essential oil has shown to have antidepressant effects.</p>
<p><strong>A 1995 Mie University study found that citrus fragrances boosted immunity, induced relaxation, and reduced depression. </strong>Lemon essential oil is an immune stimulant. It increases white blood cells, improves microcirculation and is antiseptic.</p>
<p>L<strong>emon essential oil consists of 68 percent d-limonene, a powerful antioxidant. </strong>Lemon has an approximate ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorption Capacity) of 6,619 (TE/L). TE/L is expressed as micromole Trolox equivalent per liter. D-limonene has been extensively studied for its ability to combat tumor growth in over 50 clinical studies.</p>
<h4><span style="font-weight: normal;">S</span>ome Great Therapeutic Uses for Lemon Essential Oil</h4>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;">For colds or throat and mouth infections, gargling with Lemon essential oil (2 drops diluted in half a glass of water) and taking Lemon essential oil orally by adding it to a propolis tincture is helpful.</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;">Place a drop of Lemon essential oil on cold sores, herpes or other mouth ulcers to lessen pain and aid in healing.</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;">For treatment of itchy eczemas and measles add Lemon essential oil to a sponge bath (1-2 drops to a quart of water)</p>
<p>Lemon essential oil because of its vitamin C content is beneficial for treating anemia.</p>
<p>Since oils strengthen vascular tissues, it is used for treating varicose veins by improving circulation and relieving pressure on the veins. It may be applied in skin lotions and compresses, mixed in a 1 to 1 ratio with Cypress essential oil.</p>
<p>Lemon essential oil acts as an astringent, an antiseptic, a disinfectant, and a styptic that stops wounds from bleeding. It becomes an excellent remedy when used in a compress or as a cleanser for treating bleeding wounds. Put a drop of Lemon essential oil on bleeding gums caused by gingivitis or tooth extraction.</p>
<p>Essential Lemon essential oil taken orally will help counteract a high acid content in body fluids by stimulating production of potassium carbonate, a neutralizing substance and is a preferred remedy for rheumatism and gout, since it cleanses the body of uric acid, a side effect of high acidity. In this case, the oil may be taken both orally and topically.</p>
<p>Lemon essential oil is a very good stimulant of the body&#8217;s own immune system. It activates white blood cell formation and helps protect the body during flu epidemics.</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;">Rub a drop of Lemon essential oil on a wart morning and night until it disappears. Rub a drop of Lemon oil on a corn, callous or bunion mornings and evenings. Rub two drops of Lemon essential oil topically to clear athlete&#8217;s foot.</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;">Rub several drops of Lemon essential oil on cellulite to improve circulation and help eliminate waste from the cells.</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;">Put a drop of Lemon essential oil on oily skin or acne to balance sebaceous glands (oil glands).</p>
<p><strong>CAUTION:</strong> Citrus oils should NOT be applied to skin that will be exposed to direct sunlight or ultraviolet light within 24 hours.</p>
<h4><span style="font-weight: normal;">S</span>ome Great Household Uses for Lemon Essential Oil</h4>

<p style="padding-left: 30px;">Use 1-2 drops of Lemon essential oil to remove gum, oil, grease spots or crayon.</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;">Add 2-3 drops of Lemon essential oil to water and spray counter tops to sterilize them.</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;">Soak your dishcloth overnight in a bowl of water and a drop of Lemon essential oil to disinfect and kill germs.</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;">Add a drop of Lemon essential oil to your dishwasher before the wash cycle.</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;">Rub a drop of Lemon essential oil on your hands after using a public bathroom.</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;">Use a paper towel soaked with several drops of Lemon essential oil to sanitize bathroom fixtures and toilet seats.</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;">Rub a drop of Lemon essential oil to clean a butcher&#8217;s block or other cutting surfaces.</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;">Put 10-15 drops of Lemon essential oil in each gallon of carpet cleaning solution to help pull out stains and brighten the rug. This also leaves a fresh smell in the room.</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;">Use 30 drops of Lemon essential oil in the washing machine instead of chlorine bleach.</p>

<p>This is a general index of the chakras. The <a class="zem_slink" title="Essential oil" rel="wikipedia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Essential_oil"><a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">essential oils</a></a> suggested can be used in <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/aromatherapy" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Aromatherapy">aromatherapy</a>, <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/massage" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with massage">massage</a>, baths and other therapies.</p>
<p><strong> 1 &#8211; Root <a class="zem_slink" title="Chakra" rel="wikipedia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chakra">chakra</a></strong></p>
<p>The Root chakra is about being physically present. Feelings of stability, safety and stamina are held here. This is the foundation chakra and is the first chakra of the system.</p>
<p>When the root chakra is open we feel present in the here and now and feel that our physical space is sufficient, respected and connected to our physical body.</p>
<p>If the root chakra is closed we are insecure. We may be paranoid, fearful, and full of hatred and anger. We may be overly possessive. We may have low <a class="zem_slink" title="Blood pressure" rel="wikipedia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blood_pressure">blood pressure</a>, circulatory and <a class="zem_slink" title="Sexual dysfunction" rel="wikipedia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sexual_dysfunction">sexual dysfunction</a>.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">Essential oils</a> to help open the root chakra are vetiver, peppermint, frankincense, cedarwood, myrrh, carrot, cardamon, clove, oakmoss, patchouli, laurel, ginger, sandalwood and benzoin.</p>
<p><span id="more-31"></span></p>
<p><strong>2 &#8211; Sacral chakra</strong></p>
<p>The Sacral chakra is the seat of personal boundaries, trust, intimacy and the sense of attraction between two people. When the sacral chakra is open we are patient, desire and pleasure are balanced. We are able to manifest desires, have healthy attachments and healthy emotional needs. When it is open we are open to intimacy.</p>
<p>When the sacral chakra is closed we are withdrawn. We may have fears about our relationships, be manipulative, suspicious and insecure. We may have uro-genital ills, a low sex drive or an addiction to relationships.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">Essential oils</a> to open the sacral chakra are jasmine, ylang, cinnamon, petitgrain, tangerine, myrrh, pine cypress, coriander, oakmoss, rose, rose geranium, geranium, vetiver, clary sage and patchouli.</p>
<p><strong> 3 &#8211; Navel chakra</strong></p>
<p>The navel chakra is the center of our power. It is about personal power, will and metabolism. Self-confidence and self-esteem reside here. This energy is empowering as well as protective from negative energy. When the naval chakra is open we are in control, we are decisive and motivated.</p>
<p>If the naval chakra is closed we are passive and indecisive, we have low energy and are apathetic. We don’t get what we want. We may be jealous and have an inflated ego. We may have indigestion, constipation and liver ills.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">Essential oils</a> to open this chakra are ginger, ylang, lemon, lemongrass, carrot, cade, juniper, cedarwood, meilssa <a class="zem_slink" title="Black pepper" rel="wikipedia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_pepper">black pepper</a>, rosemary, marjoram, oregano, thymes, vetiver, cinnamon bark, peppermint, cardamn, citronella, valerian and spikenard.</p>
<p><strong> 4 &#8211; Heart chakra</strong></p>
<p>The Heart chakra is about love. When the heart chakra is open we are open to change and growth. We fell sympathy and empathy, are sensitive to others. The heart chakra is associated with hopes of the future and awareness of our spiritual purpose.</p>
<p>This chakra integrates and connects opposites; ego and being connected to all that is, the mind and the body. When it is open, we are compassionate and friendly; we experience love, joy, acceptance and fulfillment.</p>
<p>When our heart chakra is closed we have fears about our involvement with others. We may distance ourselves from others. We may have an inflated ego; we may be jealous and ungrateful. We may have circulation ills, high blood pressure and seasonal allergies.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">Essential oils</a> to open the heart chakra are rose, benzoin, meilssa, neroli, frankincense, bergmot, carrot, inula, lavandin, <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/lavender" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with lavender">lavender</a>, spikenard, oregano, marjoram, black pepper, sage, sandalwood, tansy, everlast, hyssop, cinnamon bark, laurel, camphor and amni visnaga.</p>
<p><strong> 5 &#8211; Throat chakra</strong></p>
<p>The Throat chakra is about expressing yourself and communicating verbally and non-verbally. This can be creative expression for an artist.</p>
<p>This is what we use to ask for what we want and get those desires manifested! When it is open we are good communicators, we are connected and interact with others to mutually beneficial ends. We are good breathers with an open throat chakra, we can release well and take in the breath of life. We heal better with this open.</p>
<p>Not speaking the truth can close this chakra. When it is closed we tend to not speak, to our detriment. We are unable to express ourselves.</p>
<p>We may be addicted to cigarettes, nasal inhalers and runners high. We may have fevers of unknown origin, inflammations, chronic throat ailments and thyroid problems.</p>
<p>We may be fearful and timid. Behaving in a manner that is honest and true to your self can help open this chakra. Singing, chanting and mantras open it as well.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">Essential oils</a> to open this chakra are <a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/lavender" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with lavender">lavender</a>, Roman and German Chamomile, spearmint, catnip, frankincense, opopanax, cypress, geranium, spruce, sandalwood and carrot seed.</p>
<p><strong> 6 &#8211; Third Eye chakra</strong></p>
<p>This Chakra is about seeing, both literally and intuitively. It gives us insight. When it is open we are very self aware, perceptive and may have heightened clairvoyance. We are better at healing, more sure of the future, and tend to make better choices. This is the chakra of visions and dreams and imagination.</p>
<p>If this chakra is closed, we tend to not think for ourselves and are easily confused. We may rely overmuch on others for guidance and direction. We may be without purpose. Physically we can have a depressed thyroid and respiratory trouble.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.essentialoilessentials.com/tag/essential-oils" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with essential oils">Essential oils</a> to open this chakra are wormwood, frankincense, cedar, everlast, spruce, pine, terebinth, rose, rosemary, clary sage, oregano and marjoram, thymes and linden.</p>
<p><strong> 7 &#8211; Crown chakra</strong></p>
<p>This is our connection to others and to the world outside of ourselves. With this we greet the divine in everyone.</p>
<p>When this chakra is open we see ourselves in others, we experience without prejudice. We are brought knowledge and wisdom and an understanding that promotes peace and a spiritual connection. We are better at manifesting desires.</p>
<p>If this chakra is closed, we are probably rigid in our impressions. We likely feel unaware of our own <a class="zem_slink" title="Spirituality" rel="wikipedia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spirituality">spirituality</a> as well as that of others.</p>
<p>We may have low energy, feel depressed and isolated and generally anxious and worried. We may have a negative feeling about our self and feel inefficient and forgetful. Physical problems can be related to the bladder and cramping.</p>
