Great blends! Different from most of the blends I already had This box set has some nice blends. Great for anyone looking to get into essential oils or someone who already loves them. Radha Beauty includes a nice little sheet with this box set that tells what is in each blend and what some of it’s uses are.The only true way of testing an essential oil is in a lab. But there are some things you can do at home to get an idea of the quality. Since these tests aren’t fool proof or 100% accurate, I always take the results with a grain of salt. The first thing I always do is the “paper test.” If you’re not familiar with the paper test; you want to put a drop of the essential oil on a white index card. It’s said “pure, undiluted, therapeutic” essential oils will completely evaporate over night, leaving no oil ring behind. But again, there are exceptions. Since the paper test only tells part of the story, you want to check some other things as well. For example, if you put a drop of the essential oil between your fingers, it shouldn’t “feel” greasy. It should feel the opposite of what a carrier oil, like Jojoba oil for example, feels like. You also want to get familiar with the smell. A good essential oil shouldn’t smell “rancid” or have a strong smell of alcohol. Keep in mind though, everyone has a different interpretation of what smells good and what doesn’t. Just because you don’t like a smell doesn’t mean the product is bad. When smelling essential oils you shouldn’t be overwhelmed and it shouldn’t make you feel sick or fell like you are getting a headache. * Rest & Relax – A blend of Lavender, Marjoram, Copaiba Balsam, Roman Chamomile and Clary Sage. “Rest & Relax” passed all the tests I performed. It has a really nice relaxing aroma to it. You can clearly smell the Lavender present, but there’s also an earthy and minty type of smell that comes though. Most likely the result of the Clary Sage and Balsam. * Four Thieves – A blend of Clove, Cinnamon, Lemon, Rosemary, and Eucalyptus. Also passed the tests. The ring left behind can be attributed to the ink spreading causing some discoloration. And it contains citrus oil. Citrus oils, due to being cold pressed (extraction method) can also leave behind a mark sometimes. The cinnamon really comes though here. When I inhale a second time I can smell (and feel) the camphor like smell coming from the Eucalyptus. This is my first time using Four Thieves. I like it more than I thought I would. * Breathe Easy – A blend of Eucalyptus, Peppermint, Tea Tree, Fir Needle, Lemon, Cardamoma and Laurel Leaf. Passed all tests. This blend does exactly what it says! Great for when you’re sick or congested. This gives you a breath of fresh air. The minty, camphor aromas from the Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Peppermint and Fir Needle come though (as expected) strongly. Almost like Vick’s Vapor Rub in liquid form. * Stress Free – A blend of Bergamot, Patchouli, Orange, Ylang Ylang and Grapefruit. Passed my tests! As for the paper test- it never had a chance. Lol. Again the Bergamot will leave being a colored tint, oils like Patchouli leave a ring because they are considered “heavier oils.” Then we have the citrus oils of Orange and Grapefruit. And finally Ylang Yland is an absolute. The paper test does not work on absolutes. (This is exactly why you can’t heavily relay on the “paper test!”) This has to be my favorite out of all the blends. I can smell the earthy Bergamot and Patchouli (Patchouli is one of my favorites) but there’s also the slightest hint of sweet Orange. * Pure Healing – A blend of Citronella, Lemongrass, Rosemary, Tea Tree and Lavender. Passed all tests. I can smell the bite of Citronella immediately. The citrus-y Lemongrass can also be spotted along with a very faint minty (clearing) type aroma coming from the Tea Tree. * Happy Citrus – A blend of Orange, Lemon, Mandarin, Clementine, Tangerine, Bergamot and Vanilla. “Happy Citrus” passed all my tests. If you look at the picture, you’ll see it did leave a faint colored circle. This can be expected though. The blend contain Bergamot which is known to leave a green tint. Also the blend contains several citrus oils like Mandarin, Orange and Lemon. I really like this citrus blend. Usually I’m just so-so when it comes to citrus but this smells very sweet. It reminded me of a creamsicle or an original Orange Julius.Very nice kit with some interesting and beneficial blends. I have received blended kits because and usually they are all the same, but this one had a lot of different aromas to it. Very happy with this set and highly recommend!I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. Always be cautious of “free or deeply discounted” product reviews, but DON’T discount every reviewer. Click on the…

Easily My Favorite Blended Essential Oils Set with a Diverse Range of Aromatic Experiences Within I have an ever-growing collection essential oils, and I’m always looking add new scents to try to compare different brands and types of essential oils I own, so I was eager to explore this Best 6 Essential Oil Blends Set by Radha Beauty Products, which included six mixed blends I hadn’t yet tried. This set of therapeutic grade essential oils includes 6 scents that are all packaged in 10ml blue glass bottles (an interesting change from the more common amber glass bottles) to protect the oils from UV light. They scents that are included are: Rest & Relax, Four Thieves, Breathe Easy, Stress Free, Pure Healing, and Happy Citrus. The individual bottles include information on their individual ingredients but not their extraction method, or origin. The following was listed on the product page concerning their extraction methods: “We use 3 methods of extraction which include, Supercritical CO2 Extraction, Cold Pressed, and Steam Distillation.” The text on the bottles was quite small and somewhat difficult to read, so I was thankful for an insert that included information on these six synergy blends. The tops of the bottles were sealed and included inset droppers to ensured you get the right amount of liquid for any given task.I generally enjoy a wide range of scents, and especially enjoy fruity and floral aromas and blends, so this particular set seems like it may be a good fit for my tastes. In particular, I enjoy using essential oils in my aromatherapy diffuser, diffuser pendant, and directly on my skin with carrier oils. Here’s some info on each of the six essential oils included in this set as well as my thoughts on them:- Rest & Relax: “Calm the mind, body and spirit with A perfect infusion of relaxation and tranquility, giving the mind and body a chance to release any uncomfortable tension. Bring about a state of peace and quiet throughout the day using oil diffusion or aromatherapy. As it A combination of comforting, aromatic Lavender, Marjoram, Copaiba Balsam, Roman Chamomile and Clary Sage can be used for in-home use or personal relaxation.” – The scent of this blend smelled strongly of lavender, chamomile, and sage to me. It was quite a pleasant mix, and was very soothing, while still having a bit of an uplifting spice component.- Four Thieves: “Thieves Synergy Blend comes from a long-known legend of four French thieves that concocted a special oil blend. It was prepared to protect them from catching the plague when robbing the homes and graves of their sick victims. Believing that this blend strengthened and aided in their strong immunity, it is still commonly used today for the same reasons. The potent blend of Clove, Cinnamon, Lemon, Rosemary and Eucalyptus are combined for vitality, strength and a natural boost for physical and mental stamina -fortifying all systems of the body.” – This one smelled very strongly of clove, cinnamon, and eucalyptus to me with a herbal undertone. The blend goes well together but is extremely potent. It’s anything but subtle, but if you want something warming with poignant notes, this blend is a good bet!- Breathe Easy: “Inspire…and respire. Opens you up and gives you a breathe of fresh air. The powerful benefits of Eucalyptus, Peppermint, Tea Tree, Fir Needle, Lemon, Cardamom and Laurel Leaf soothe the respiratory system and ease up any condition. Whether you’re suffering from allergies, seasonal ups and downs or a common cold, the positive effects of Breathe Synergy Blend will calm the system and promote nights of well-deserved sleep.” – The smell of this blend is extremely potent and minty! It reminds me a lot of the smell of strong pain-relief gels or rubs, except without the lingering chemical smells. Beneath the aroma of peppermint and eucalyptus, the smell of fir needle and lemon are also soothing and apparent. It’s so strong and minty that I can’t see myself using it often unless I’m really trying to find something to clear out my sinuses, but for a niche use, it would probably do wonders.- Stress Free: “Stress Relief Synergy Blend here to the rescue! A superior blend of Bergamot, Patchouli, Orange, Ylang Ylang and Grapefruit to release tension and stress all over the body. Feeling anxious, nervous and unfocused? Release tension, anxiety and nerves from the inside out. A great healing solution for even the most stressful days – just diffuse and relax. ” – This scent smells strongly of patchouli and bergamot, with just a hint of citrus undertones. While it works well together as a blend, I’m not a big fan of patchouli. That said, if you like patchouli, I feel like you might really like this blended take on it. It has a really suitable and balanced pallet of scents.- Pure Healing: “Refresh your aromatic palette with the Cleanse Synergy Blend. This invigorating blend combats negative energies and purifies in the air to better. Combined…
